Mama Mia!

I had the pleasure of seeing Mama Mia! when it was in the movie theater here and currently I have the DVD. I think its a great movie, but then again I am a sucker for musicals in general. I thing that you must know is that once you see the movie, you will have a problem keeping the music out of your head as its rather contagious to say the least. The music is Abba Songs so they have a way of creeping up into your head without notice. If you want a feel good movie, this may be the movie for you.

Star Trek

Star Trek has been around since the mid-1960s. That was before my time as I was born in the late 1970s. I started watching Star Trek: The Next Generation in the 1990s when I was in high School. At first I did not like it, but it grew on me and I was hooked. Growing up in my grandparent's house when I was younger probably had a small factor in me actually getting into it in the first place. My grandfather loved Star Trek, so that was always in the back of my mind. My grandfather had died right before I had started junior high, so he never was able to see any of the other series that were to come out in my lifetime.

The Star Trek Franchise consisted of The original Star Trek, The Animated Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space 9, Voyager and Enterprise. There are a total of eleven movies. The last being called Star Trek.

The Jazz Singer

Most people have heard of the movie, The Jazz Singer. There are a few different version of it, but the one I am talking about is the 80s version of it. I do not even remember when the first time I ever seen it. All I know is that I have seen it as a young kid. I think the reason why I associate with this movie is because I am jewish, but on top of that I do struggle with who I am as I did grow up around more people of the christian faith than of the Jewish faith. In this lens, I hope to point out some great scenes in the movie.

Marley and Me

I have had a chance to see the movie. I have to say it is a good movie to watch. This is about Marley and the Rogan family and how this dog changes their lives. Anyone who loves dogs will love this movie. Some parts of movie remind me of some things that my shephard mix would do. My Shepherd mix would get into everything and anything especially when she was a puppy.
